Liverpool Motor Club co-promoted event

This weekend the Club joins with the Liverpool Motor Club to run a "Clubmans" weekend. 

Loton Park is located on the B4393 in Alberbury,8 miles West of Shrewsbury,SY5 9AG.It is one of the busiest and most challenging hillclimbs in the UK. With 8 corners it is a test of both car and driver.

Excellent viewing facilities and access to the paddock are available.

Midland Championship plus Porsches

The August meeting features another round of the  UKChanges Midland Hill Climb Championship, the AVON/BTMR Top Ten Challenge, the Morris Lubricants Loton Park Championship, the the Paul Matty Sports Cars Classic Challenge and a round of the Porsche Club Speed Championship.

Practice commences at 9.00am on Saturday (admission £8.00 for adults) and Competitive runs at 9.30am on Sunday (admission £10.00 for adults). Parking is free on site, with refreshments, track-side seating, Club regalia and trade stands. Spectators are encouraged to visit the paddock area (no passes or additional tickets required) to get a "close up" view of the machinery on display, meet the drivers and get a closer insight into the sport of hillclimbing.

Mac Hazlewood Sprint

We are re-introducing a Sprint into our calendar after a two-year break. The event will be a round of the Midland Sprint Championship. Regulations are available below.

The Ken Wharton is recognised as the premier Autotest event in the UK, attracting the top drivers from England, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Wales and an International Ladies Team.
