Ken Wharton Memorial Autotests 2011

The 55th running of the Ken Wharton was again a close fought affair between the two Irish teams, the result going to the Republic by a mere 23 seconds after 8 tests, the team made up of Eamonn Byrne, David Thompson, Simon Echlin and JJ Farrell. Northern Ireland were second and England third.

This was not only the 55th KW, but the 25th time the event has been held at the Arrow Mill, and the event seems to get better each year. The driving standards this year had to be seen to be believed. Well done to the organisers and competitors!
