British Hill Climb Championship

The 50th year at Loton Park will fittingly come to an end with the final round of the 2010 British Hillclimb Championship plus the HSA Championship on 25th & 26th September.  We have received a very full entry including all the top British Championship contenders. Going through the classes, we have a very special Mitsubishi entered in the form of Scottish front-runner Donald McCaskill who brings his hugely powerful turb0/supercharged EVO to Loton for the first time. There will be two exciting Ford Pumas contesting the Libre class, with the 4x4 turbo examples of Mike Manning and Mike Endean producing over 1200 combined bhp. The 1600 single-seater class has 23 entries, the 2-litre class 15 and the unlimited class boasts no less than 26 entries.

With many of the big V8-engined cars unable to take advantage of their superior power, the stars of the day were in the 1600cc class, Eynon Price taking advantage of his rallying exprerience netting maximum points in the first run-off, and Richard Spedding taking 3rd spot in the second run-off.The points standings are currently-:
