On this late summer weekend, we welcome a huge variety of cars, from the Pre-War Austin Sevens to state of the art single-seater racing cars, competing at the crucial stage of their championship season. Our own Race Van Conversions Loton Park Championship reaches its climax during these two one-day meetings with all still to play for.

SPECTATOR INFORMATION


Loton Park Speed Hill Climb course is set in the beautiful surroundings of a deer park owned by Sir Michael Leighton, and is situated 9 miles west of Shrewsbury on the B4393 road in the village of Alberbury. The course is 1475 yards (1349 metres) long with an average gradient of 1 in 25 (4%) and the steepest of 1 in 7 (14%) and is rated as one of the country’s most demanding hills by competitors. Plenty of seating areas are available along the course, with the best viewing areas being at Triangle and Fallow/Museum bends. Toilet and catering facilities will be provided throughout the course of the day. Dogs are strictly forbidden.
