11TH & 12TH JULY

As we come to the midpoint of the hill climbing calendar, our own Race Van Conversions Championship and our visiting Championships are reaching the exciting stage of the season, but with all still to play for. On both Saturday and Sunday we welcome back the motorbikes for their second visit of the season to Loton Park. They will battle over two rounds on each day to qualify for a Top Ten runoff to be held at the end of the day’s competitive runs. On this visit the bikes are accompanied by the always spectacular Morgan 3-wheelers. The Ferraris competing in the Pirelli Ferrari Hill Climb Championship will also be with us for the two days; as will the huge variety of cars competing in the SBD HSA Speed Championship, the DEWS Downton Minis Championship and the Nottingham Sports Car Club Championship. On Sunday these are joined by the Lotus 7 Club Speed Championship, the Revington TR Sprint & Hill Climb Championship and the Morgan Sports Car Club Speed Championship. All that the weekend now requires is some summer sunshine for all to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Deer Park. We hope you enjoy your visit and encourage you to explore the hill and to walk around the paddock, admire the cars and talk to the drivers.
