DESCRIPTION


Hagley & District Light Car Club COVID-19 17/03/2020 Motorsport UK have suspended all organising permits and Certificates of Exemption until at least 30th April 2020. This suspension follows the latest guidance issued by HM UK Government in response to the outbreak of COVID-19. This position will be constantly reviewed given prevailing information. As a result, the events at Loton Park on March 28th & 29th and the 11th & 12th April will be postponed until such times that all restrictions have been lifted. At that time, we will be in a position to either re-arrange or cancel these postponed events. We will continue to monitor the situation and make announcements in due course

SPECTATOR INFORMATION


Loton Park Speed Hill Climb course is set in the beautiful surroundings of a deer park owned by Sir Michael Leighton, and is situated 9 miles west of Shrewsbury on the B4393 road in the village of Alberbury. The course is 1475 yards (1349 metres) long with an average gradient of 1 in 25 (4%) and the steepest of 1 in 7 (14%) and is rated as one of the country’s most demanding hills by competitors. Plenty of seating areas are available along the course, with the best viewing areas being at Triangle and Fallow/Museum bends. Toilet and catering facilities will be provided throughout the course of the day. Dogs are strictly forbidden.
