May Weekend Action

Although Saturday dawned overcast and threatening, the weather improved as the day went on and on Sunday the sun shone and it was a great day of top class hillclimbing with Trevor Willis winning both Top-12 run-offs in the Midland Hillclimb Championship.

Although no new class records were set, many competitors set personal best times. Some of these can be seen on Facebook with in-car coverage showing their celebrations on seeing their time displayed after the finish line.

We were hosting the third round of the Midland series plus the Porsche Club National Hillclimb and the ‘Paul Matty Sportscars’ Lotus championships along with our own ‘Allswage’ Loton Park series for Hagley members, all of which adding up to a full entry.

The next weekend in our calendar of events at Loton Park is 10/11th June when we have the first visit of the year from the MSA British and Leaders Championships, with all the leading entries from throughout the country and we also host the fifth round of the Midland series in addition to the Porsche Club Speed Championship which will have rounds on both days.

Results can be found by going through the Competitors tab on this site.
