The two one day May meetings hosted the Midland Speed Championship, The Association of North West Car Clubs, the Paul Matty Lotus Championship and our own RVC Loton Park Hagley Members Championship.
Saturday dawned cool and damp and Sunday ended in the same way, by far the fastest times of Sunday being in practice. Alex Summers set FTD on Saturday and Sunday in the 1100cc DJ Firehawk; from father Richard in the DJ Firestorm on Saturday and Simon Andrews in the tricky conditions in his 2.6l TKD engined OMS 28 on Sunday.
No class records were broken but many personal bests were achieved in a fun and competitive weekend.
Our next meeting is on the weekend of the 8/9 June when Loton Park welcomes the BMTR Midland Hill Climb Championship and Wynn Developments Top Ten Challenge for a two day meeting and the Porsche Club GB Speed Championship for two one day meetings.
